About the Global Center for Trauma Education and Training™

Making the World Trauma-Sensitive

At the Global Center for Trauma Education and Training™, we believe that the world is a better place when everyone is trauma-sensitive.

The problem is that not everyone has the skills or knowledge to be trauma-sensitive. That’s where we come in. We offer leadership training resources, programs, and certifications that combine coaching with psychology in order to help you understand how trauma affects your interactions with others and how you can use that knowledge to build more effective relationships.

Our program isn’t just about learning new information—it’s about empowering you to make a positive change in your community, workforce, and the world.

Our Vision

We believe that everyone deserves to be treated with respect, dignity, and compassion, no matter what they've been through or where they're from. We know how hard it can be for people who have experienced trauma to find their voices, let alone rise up and lead others, but we also know how much good those voices can do. That's why we created this leadership training and education program: because we believe everyone has something valuable to contribute—and because we think that by helping leaders become more aware of their own trauma sensitivity, we can make them better equipped to help others find their voices as well. Everyone should feel safe and supported. Our vision is to create a world where everyone is trauma-sensitive and with no retraumatization.

Our Mission

We are the Global Center for Trauma Education and Training™, and we believe that every leader has the power to be trauma-sensitive. People are experiencing more trauma than ever before—at work, at home, in their communities. This trauma can leave people feeling isolated, hopeless, or even suicidal. We believe that every leader can learn how to be trauma-sensitive to mitigate the retraumatization of those they lead. We know that when leaders understand how trauma works and how they can be helpful to those who experience it, they will make better decisions that benefit themselves and their organizations on many levels: financially, emotionally, mentally, and physically. Our mission is to educate, train, and equip every leader with the tools they need in order to become a trauma-sensitive organization—because we believe there's no greater gift than leading from a place of safety for everyone involved.

Our Core Value

We have one simple core value: to make every interaction safe for you and everyone around you.

Here’s What We Believe

At the Global Center for Trauma Education and Training™, we believe diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging are a way of living. We believe everyone has a unique story, and their experiences create a rich environment.

We believe that everyone, regardless of race, ethnicity, country of origin, religion, sex, gender or gender identification, or sexual orientation, deserves to be treated with compassion, empathy, respect, dignity, and kindness.

And if you believe what we believe, you can help us create a more inclusive and trauma-sensitive world where we mitigate retraumatization.

The Only Company Designed to Train People of Power in All Industries

We’re the only organization that trains leaders from all industries to be trauma-sensitive.

At the Global Center for Trauma Education and Training, we believe that when you’re a leader, you have an incredible opportunity to positively impact the people around you—and the world as a whole.

Our program combines leadership coaching with insights from psychology to create a trauma-sensitive and effective leader. We want to see a world where everyone is trauma-sensitive with no retraumatization.

About Me

With over 15 years of corporate experience, 20 years of leadership experience, and an M.B.A., developmental psychologist, and Ph.D. candidate, I seek to create this trauma-sensitive training program from a place of education and personal experience.

Not only am I a certified trauma-sensitive coach, master-certified life coach, and certified professional coach, but I also have a history of trauma and healing. My work is not just practical but informed by education and theory. I am a product of my work and therefore have complete empathy for those I work with.
